Women and Anger

September 28 –  October 20, 2017

International Group Exhibition

You see men blow up all the time, and it’s not a big deal. But if a woman does it, either she’s crazy or she’s shrill. It’s like, you know what? She may just be angry‘.  –  Gillian Flynn (American author, screenwriter, comic book writer and former television critic for Entertainment Weekly)

The works are focused on women in the United States or globally, having either a contemporary or historical context or show issues related to women and anger in either the public or private sphere.

The exhibition is sponsored by the Koehnline Museum of Art and the Women’s Gender Studies Program.
